Viticulture exhibitions in Mikulov

Regional Museum in Mikulov offers a permanent viticulture exhibition, consisting of three parts:

1) Chateau Cellar with remarkable Giant Barrel dating from 1643 and belonging to the largest in Europe with its volume of approx. 1014 hectolitres (135 thousand bottles).

2) „Tradition of viticulture in Moravia“ informs about history of wine-growing, wine-making and vineyard tools.

3) „Wooden wine presses gallery“ presents examples of historic wine presses from South Moravia and Western Slovakia.
